After a near death experience several years ago, Lee knew he needed to tackle life’s last and, in his opinion, most important question—what happens once we die, which was a bit of a pivot from his normal line of work. In fact, as an atheist-turned-Christian, he has been described in the Washington Post as “one of the evangelical community’s most popular apologists.” Lee joins me on the show today to talk about his latest book, The Case for Heaven: A Journalist Investigates Evidence for Life After Death, and the things he learned after two years of researching, interviews and studying the Bible.
