Life After Foster Care - Yamilet Cardenas talks about her journey through college and giving back to youth.

Yamilet is a former foster child working on becoming a future foster care leader. She was first place in foster care at five years old and was in and out of the system, until aging out at twenty-one. She received a BA in psychology and just finished her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Yamilet is becoming the change she wants to see in the world, with her YouTube channel, which assist people with motivation, helping, and awareness. She is also a resident counselor helping other foster youth deal with the everyday challenges of being part of the system. Currently, an advocate for foster youth, mental health, and at risk youth.
