Sitcoms have a shorter lifespan than in the past, which means syndication has changed. What does that mean for the stars of comedies? Obviously, big stars like Jerry Seinfeld can do what they like after a massive hit like "Seinfeld" goes off the air. But for a star like Billy Gardell, who has found success on shows like "BOB❤️ABISHOLA" and "Mike & Molly," it means picking up work along the line and even getting back on the road to do standup comedy.
