Her work sits at the intersection of trauma and thriving. She's spent years studying how people find positive transformation after some of the worst experiences of their lives. Her doctoral research at McGill University took her to Northern Ireland, where she explored how personal values shifted among families who had lost loved ones to the conflict. That question, how do people hold pain and still build something meaningful, continues to drive her research, her teaching, and her clinical practice.
