To the young preacher Timothy the apostle Paul said, “Preach the word, be instant in season and out of season, reprove, rebuke, and exhort with all long-suffering and teaching,” 2 Timothy 4:2.We welcome you to our study of the life and work of a gospel preacher. We encourage you to locate your Bible and stay tuned as we're going to look at this very encouraging study together.As we examine the life and the work of the gospel preacher, what an awesome privilege it is to proclaim the message of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!Paul said, “I thank God who enabled me to preach the gospel,” 1 Timothy 1:11-12. It is a privilege, and it's an awesome responsibility to proclaim the saving message of Jesus Christ.What is the life and the work of a gospel preacher all about?
