Life-Changing Encounters (Part 3)!

It's not all life-changing encounters that has a divine angle to it. To think it has to be all divine is to be spooky without any justification. Whilst we do not discountenance the overwhelming effect of divinity intercepting humanity to bring about life-changing encounters, our focus is on these three different areas todays: the people we meet, the books we read and the way we're socialised can change our lives forever. The people we meet or allow into our space, influence who we become. The bible tells us, "He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: But a companion of fools shall be destroyed" (Prov. 13:20). The company of people you keep and allow influence you would either make or destroy you. Either ways, life-changing encounters take place. Knowing this, one must be actively involved in the selection process of who becomes what in our lives and who has no place therein. Never forget, people are either dream fertilisers, to help midwife your dreams to birth, or they're dream killers. Choose wisely. The books we read shape our mindsets, culture, and behaviour. Books, without knowing, are powerfully influential tools that unravel mysteries. The discovery from books can change the course of our lives forever. Daniel discovered by books (Dan. 9: 2) and that experience ended their stay in slavery. The rich treasures hidden in books can only be discovered when we read like one exploring for hidden treasure.
