Life Hacks: Humility (Pt. 1 11.18.18)

Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” 7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. (Jas 4:6–8, ESV) 5 Likewise, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” 6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, (1 Pe 5:5–6, ESV) For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.” (Lk 18:14, ESV) Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.
