Life in Exile | Genesis 4:17-26

Genesis 4:17–26 shows what life east of Eden looks like: God still restrains chaos with mercy, allows human culture and society to develop, and yet reminds us that none of it can save us. In this message, we see Cain’s line building cities, developing tools, music, and order in a fallen world, while the deeper hope of humanity rests not in progress, success, or self-made security, but in the promised seed God provides. This passage reminds us that life in exile needs mercy, order, justice, promise, and worship—and that even the best city built by human hands cannot restore what was lost in Eden.
