Life in Our Second Half is Really a Gift to be Appreciated with Debbie McCulloch

from Second Half Chronicles with Carami Olsen · host Carami Olsen

"We do want to realize that living to a certain age is a gift. We can certainly make the most of each and everyday if we choose to." Debbie About Debbie The creator and host of the podcast Older and Bolder, Debbie showcases women who are fearless, fabulous and fifty-plus! Of course we connected immediately over the commonality of our mission. Her podcast is wonderful!! Impressed by Debbie’s prowess to tackle and learn the tech demands of podcasting, we were able to share notes of the ins and out of launching a podcast. That being said, I’ve been given the note that I must wait until my 50th birthday to appear as a guest on Older and Bolder! Ha Ha! A retired pharmacist, she and her late husband, Bill, raised their three children in Rosetown, Saskatchewan. Now a grandmother to two grandsons, Debbie relates that the small town life has been perfect for their family. “Almost everything I have enjoyed during my life cam be traced back to my roots on the farm and the Howard Powell community. I have always enjoyed participating as a volunteer in community events such as fundraisers, school activities, giving talks on health-related topics and being on various board and committees.” Debbie. She now spends her time studying Spanish, volunteering and socializing with friends and family, especially at the hockey rinks and ball diamonds cheering on her grandsons.
