He didn’t write a book to fill pages with miracles and events. His purpose was much deeper: he wanted every person to understand that this Jesus—whom many called just “the carpenter’s son”—was in fact the promised Christ, the Savior of the world, the Son of God.Think about it: how often do we judge someone only by appearances? Maybe a classmate, or even someone in our own family, who looks ordinary but carries something amazing inside. That’s how it was with Jesus. Many saw Him as simple, but John wrote so that everyone would know: He is much more than He seems.And why does this matter for us today? Because believing in Jesus isn’t just saying “I believe.” It’s trusting that He is the Messiah who came to transform our lives. It’s believing that in Him we find forgiveness, hope, and purpose. John says that by believing, we receive life in His name. Real life—not just existing, but living with meaning, with direction, with peace in our hearts.The world offers plenty of things: fame, money, likes on social media. But none of that gives true life. Only in Jesus do we find a life that never ends, that fills us with hope, and gives us courage to face the future without fear.So here’s the question today: do you believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God? Not just as church information, but as a truth that changes how you live? Because this faith isn’t only for the past—it’s for right now.Choose to believe in Jesus. Choose to live in His name. And you’ll discover that the life He gives is greater than anything this world could ever offer.
