Life in the sunny south of Germany’s Pleasantville, Freiburg

Nicole takes a break from her side hustle as the host of The Expat Cast, to stop by About Abroad and share her experience living and working in one of Chase’s favorite places in the world, Freiburg, Germany. Tucked in the rolling green hills of the pre-Alps in the south of Germany, right on the Swiss and French borders, this town of around 200,000 people is what we refer to as “Pleasantville” throughout this episode. Nicole walks us through how she made the move from the US to Germany, and explains why she’s fallen in love with the area, as well as some options for you to make the move here as well.
