Life is a Highway

This week in our Off Ramps series, we discussed the everyday struggles many of us have with money and the ways fear and anxiety can quietly pull us away from trusting God. Drawing from Jesus’ words in Matthew 6:25–34, Charlie Lofton unpacked how worry over finances can easily become a spiritual off ramp, distracting us from God’s path for our lives. We explored the difference between unhealthy anxiety and healthy stewardship, looking at Jesus’ invitation to “seek first his kingdom and his righteousness,” and what it means to align our financial choices with his priorities. Through honest reflection and practical guidance, we considered how generosity, wise saving, and responsible spending all flow from a heart that truly trusts God’s provision. Whether you’re in a season of plenty or facing tough financial realities, this message offers real hope for finding freedom from anxiety—and a reminder that God cares for every detail of your life. Take some time this week to consider where your trust lies and how you can realign your heart and habits with Christ.
