Life Is So Different

from Hope-Full Living · host Don Hollmann

Growing up in the late 1930s and early 1940s was so calm and simple even though a world war was occurring. Parents and teachers in a Lutheran school guided me with love. I enjoyed frequent family gatherings with just a radio or newspaper as the entry into the outside world. I got married and had three sons. What happened to those simple days? The days are gone forever, but their memories remain as a guide in today’s complex world. We are a guide to our families and others, which is so important. We may lose a spouse, a child, or a close friend and provide a guide to others to show the world may have changed, but we haven’t — especially our love for our Father God, our ultimate guide.
