Trying to overcome a traumatic past, Max Caufield works as a photographer artist-in-residence at the prestigious Caledon University. Max's life is again struck by tragedy, as she finds her new close friend Safi murdered in the snow. It is now up to Max to use her supernatural power to shift between two parallel timelines, including one where Safi is still alive, but still in danger, to solve this mystery.
