Life on the Border: Rhetoric or Reality?

Recently returned from southern Mexico and El Salvador, The Texas Tribune's Jay Root will host an evening conversation in McAllen to talk about the project's findings. Special guests will include Guadalupe Correa-Cabrera, associate professor of Public Affairs and Security Studies at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV), and Chris Cabrera, deputy spokesperson for the National Border Patrol Council and Local 3307 in the Rio Grande Valley.
