As I lie here in bed Thinking about the day It's not the things I did But what I really want to do Just staring at my walls And writing down these words Searching through my feelings Are they real or are they a dream I try to live my life By following my heart I keep my mind in check But sometimes I just fall apart My heart is saying yes My mind says I don't know I wish I didn't have All of the questions about life So I keep striving Don't want to let it go This vision that I have A wonderful life that I see And now it's very late My night has come and gone Still I have this question How can I make my dream come true Another day has passed This year, it's almost gone I'm longing for the days To live, laugh and love once again I know I can achieve Stay positive, believe Always moving forward Chasing after this dream I see I just have to believe And learn to be patient Don't give up, chase my dream The best thing in life will show up
