Life Stories... With Anthony Burns

Anthony is a Leeds based Chartered Physiotherapist currently working as a Senior Physiotherapist in the private sector, alongside building ecovery – which is an award winning, digital, clinical signposting service that he has co-founded with Mr Simon Boyle who is an experienced orthopaedic shoulder surgeon based in West Yorkshire. Ant qualified from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2007 achieving a 1st in his BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy degree and he has since gained a wide range of clinical experience, working in the NHS, elite sport and in the private sector. He has worked in advanced clinical roles, worked as a regional clinical lead and latterly was instrumental in helping set up a Sports Injuries Clinic at Nuffield Health Leeds Hospital (in conjunction with Dr Alastair Jones – Sports Medicine Physician) which was the first of its type in the Leeds region in terms of its multi-disciplinary structure.
