Life Stories... With Dr Nigel Jones

Dr Nigel Jones MB ChB MSc DipSEM DipOccMed FFSEM. Nigel is a Consultant in Sport and Exercise Medicine who currently works as Chief Medical Officer for British Cycling. He previously worked as England Rugby Senior Team Doctor. Other positions have included Liverpool Football Club, The English Institute of Sport and Gloucester Rugby. Nigel also has an interest in combat sports and has many boxing/MMA athletes as his clients. He is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Liverpool University and has served two terms of office as Training Programme Director for Sports Medicine Doctors in the North West. He is a former Chair of the British Association of Sport and Exercise Medicine (BASEM).  Nigel has extensive research and publication experience – particularly in the field of Sport Related Concussion.
