Life stories... With Sarah Holt

Sarah is currently a clinical specialist Occupational Therapist in Group Rehabilitation at the University Hospitals of Derby and Burton. The service offers work focused rehabilitation, functional capacity assessments and workplace assessments to musculoskeletal patients. In 2016 Sarah established an agreement to offer these services to a large local employer in order to generate additional income for the Trust. Since 2020 the vocational rehab service has been extended to post Covid patients throughout Derbyshire who are struggling to return to work. At present Sarah is working with other local providers to establish Covid Rehab Hubs for the county. Sarah has a passion for student education and teaching junior staff to develop their skills as an OT and specifically in vocational rehabilitation.
