The podcast is back after a few weeks break, in a series of episodes for Autumn and Halloween we go to Scotland to speak with IBD warrior Stefanie who has Ulcerative Colitis and a Stoma bag. She was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis when she was 17, 5 years ago, she was at high school the last year, Stefanie was misdiagnosed we both say it is a massive fight! Stefanie has had a Stoma for 3 years and beforehand had been on 13 different medications, as we say in the podcast doesn't seem like a lot but it definitely is! Stefanie talks about her journey and story so far it's a really formfilling chat! We also talk about mental health, hobbies and toilet's! When we talk about toilet's we mention how not every disability is visible and how it would be very beneficial was so many if there was more unisex toilet's! it would help so many communities. We also mention how paying to use a toilet is really bad especially for people who are in flareups and financeable can't afford too. We also talk about personal experiences with our Crohn's and Colitis when using a toilet. Stefanie also gives some important advise! Thank you again Stefanie!
