Luigi writes his mama to tell her about brand names of products. As confusing as life can be, he's just happy to be living here. Pasquali fast talks Luigi and before he knows it he's trapped into marrying Pasquali's fat daughter Rosa. To hasten the deal, and without Luigi's knowledge, Pasquali sent out invitations. Luigi's friends in his English as a Second Language class feel sorry for him and filibuster the wedding. All the speeches are intended to wear everybody down. It begins to work.
