Post Punk, Better Badges and the Doors of perception. 79 -82 Things are moving fast, I have moved into a squat in London with the Urban Monkees, started working for Better Badges on an ad hoc basis (all night session making badges or fanzines, selling badges at loads of gigs with Flo or Hamish), spending weekends with new friends (Flo, Renny, Hugh) discovering music new and old (from Dub to Psycedelia) and generally having my mind blown. MTV has just started broadcasting (a different animal from what we see today). I have started doing a little DJing at the 100 Club and music has become an all consuming passion. I went to Glastonbury for the first time (New Order are espicially memorable) and also the 3rd Futurama Festival. I have started working for a bands (Chelsea and The Meteors) doing backline (I am a ‘Roadie’).
