LifeofDeath 03
from A Life of Death
As the implications of this ability continue, Alex is forced to question the religious implications of his visions. Are the visions a blessing or a curse? He speaks with his family minister, Father Gilbert, to try and find answers. Father Gilbert advises him to speak for the dead because they are speaking to him. It occurs to Alex that there is still one ghost he hasn't heard from, one he truly wants to speak with . . . his father. But can he find his father's wrecked car? And will the other victims within the small town wait for him to investigate his own internal struggles? Is it possible that ghosts aren't the only people struggling to find someone to tell their story? Homeless Bob is lost in his own misery, pushing his lawnmower across town without any indication of rational thought. Can Alex help him and speak for his lost son? Is it too late? As he visits his father's grave to mull over the possibilities, a surprise awaits him at the grave and forces him to question his only place of solace and his father's loyalty. Full of doubt and questions, Alex's world is truly thrust into chaos when he picks up one of Gloria's old stuffed animals.
