The subtle smell of oiled leather greets him again, and Alex relives a more personal past. It seems that everyone needs someone to speak for them, the living and the dead. Unsure about his own beliefs, Alex is forced to prioritize his life and the needs of others over his own. The lives of his stepsisters are at stake. As the events of Alex's visions surface, the survivors of the murders are learning what Alex knows. Little does he realize that one of his teachers might be involved. How far are people willing to go to protect their murderous actions? And what can he and Paige do to reveal their horrible actions? In an attempt to protect Abigail and Glory, Alex takes them under his wing while keeping an eye on the Drunk. But a simple question still plagues him, what can he do to stop someone like the Drunk?
