Life's Tapestry: Special People and The Lessons, Language, and Paradigms They Give to Us

"There are certain people who enable us to be as we have never been before," Ed Farrell wrote. God has used people and the lessons, language, and paradigms they have opened to me to shape me in profound ways, and I am grateful. My Grandpa, Verlin Himelick, was one of the wisest men I ever met. His love for God and his family is a heritage that I treasure. This episode cover photo is a picture of him and his young bride, Cora Mae, shortly after arriving back from the horrors of World War II as a Marine in the South Pacific. This Christmas Eve brings back memories of that last Christmas we spent together with him 17 years ago. I miss him... Who are some of those special people for you?
