Light of Your Countenance – Morning Prayer, Monday, Proper 27

The Season After Pentecost, Monday, Proper 27, in the Church Calendar This week we are following the Daily Office lectionary with an episode Monday through Friday. Our general order and lectionary comes from the Book of Common Prayer Daily Office. We’ll sing “Goodness of God” by Ben Fielding, Brian Johnson, Ed Cash, Jason Ingram, and Jenn Johnson. We’ll then offer a Prayer of Confession. We’ll read portions of Psalm 80 followed by the Gloria Patri. Our Scripture Lesson is Luke 14:12-24 . We’ll say the Apostles’ Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, and the Collect of the Day. We’ll then have a time of prompted prayer. If you have a prayer request please submit it here.
