Light - Part 1

In this sermon, Pastor Chan kicks off our Advent sermon series by directing our attention to the hope we have in Christ Jesus, the king who came and is coming again. Today's Message Text: Isaiah 2:1-5 Main Idea: Isaiah 2:1-5 is a prophecy about the future establishment of God’s kingdom, where Jerusalem (Zion) will be exalted as the spiritual center of the world (a city on a hill). In this vision, nations will come to seek God’s guidance, and His instruction will bring peace among them. Wars will cease as people transform weapons into tools for farming, symbolizing harmony and prosperity. The passage ends with a call for the people of Israel to walk in the light of the Lord, embracing His ways. This passage reflects hope for a universal reign of justice and peace under the light and authority of Christ. Thanks for listening in to The Ridge's Sunday Audio podcast!
