Episode 10!Feels like a mini-milestone.. so let's make it a fun one!Welcome to An Evening in the Stormcave, with your hosts Grant Walker and Jenelle Schmidt.Tonight we are seeing a dream of our become a reality! When we first started putting the idea of Stormcave together more than 15 years ago we thought that a "roundtable" discussion with our family would be a fun way to share our love of stories. It took us a little while, but we finally got our first crack at it.. and boy was it fun! Has us looking forward to the next chance we may get and the hopes that even more of our family and families can be there for that!Tonight we are talking about one of our all-time favorite story tellers: Gordon Lightfoot. We share how we came to know his music, some of his songs that we love the most, how he has inspired storytelling within our family and finally we have the wonderful privilege of unveiling a special treat near the end of the program! Our sister Brittany has written and recorded a beautiful tribute and a "thank you" to Gordon Lightfoot for all the music and stories that he shared with us, his fans. We will present Brittany's new video for this, her song "Lightfoot," at the end of the program. It was here that their love for stories took root deep in their hearts.Today, they are continuing that tradition, sharing their favorite stories with their own children, extended family, and friends.
