It’s always a great time when we are able to get together with Ashton’s Lauren Ferraro…even if it’s virtually! We light up the Ashton Cabinet No. 7 and pair it with Glenmorangie 14 Year Quinta Ruban while we catch up with Ashton’s New England rep. Then we try out Peter Stokkebye’s Luxury Navy Flake, a bulk blend manufactured by STG. Kendra suggested pairing it with a white wine called Three Sheets to the Wind by Zorvino Vineyards, a local winery in Sandown, NH. We talk about Ashton, how they are adapting in the current circumstances of COVID-19 restrictions, specials that Twins is offering ON Ashton brand cigars May 1-8, how the PCA is still attempting to go ahead even with having to comply with a myriad of social distancing restrictions, how each of us has been passing the extra time at home, and all the shenanigans you have come to expect from the crew of Not Just Blowing Smoke. We encourage you to join us each Friday from 7:00-8:30pm EST on our Facebook Page (facebook.com/NJBSpodcast) to be part of the show. The Monday podcast will be an edited version of that live event. This episode is an edited audio recording of our third Facebook Live event which aired on May 1, 2020. This is the only podcast that brings the wealth of knowledge, expertise, and fun of Twins Smoke Shop, New England’s premiere smoke shop, right to you, wherever you are, whenever you want it. Each week we review a cigar and a pipe tobacco and have each expertly paired with a spirit or cocktail from the bar at our own 7-20-4 Lounge. And that is…Not Just Blowing Smoke! What I didn’t know was that my own nightmare would unfold before my eyes. I was 12 when my mom was brutally murdered. The words still echo in my head “Haylee we believe your mom is dead. We believe your dad murdered her.” What I would later find out was mind blowing and earth shattering. Not only did I lose my mother, but my own father was going to blame ME. I was thrown into a web of his lies and I was betrayed. I have became a voice for my mom and I am still being blamed by liar, liar.
