Lightning Labs upcoming code talent | Elle Mouton

Connect The Connect The World EP022 | Elle Mouton | Lightning Labs Engineer | South Africa "Edward and Stef talk with Elle Mouton, an engineer at Lightning Labs from South Africa. She worked on a lot of projects, for example on Lightning Node Connect (LNC). That’s the communication logic that allows you to access your node from anywhere! Elle really breathes Bitcoin and Lightning! While working at a crypto exchange, she kept challenging herself to learn more about Bitcoin and Lightning: She build a website to demonstrate how LSATs (Lightning Service Authentication Tokens) could be used, attended the Chaincode Labs seminars, wrote some technical Lightning blog posts and started making more and more contributions to various Lightning Labs projects. Among a lot of other things, they talk about static invoices and about Aperture, a proxy you can use to create API points for your website without KYC! Sit tight and enjoy the show!" - Jonī Kyasshu 🌍 Connect The World An English podcast where we guide you in the magic world of the Bitcoin Lightning Network. 🤝 Join Connect The World • Telegram Connect The World: https://t.me/connect_the_world • Telegram Rings of Fire: https://t.me/SatoshiRadioROF • Twitter Jonī Kyasshu: https://twitter.com/Joni_Kyasshu • Rings of Fire website: https://satoshiradio.nl/ringoffire 🎤 Links to the guest • https://twitter.com/ElleMouton • https://github.com/ellemouton • https://ellemouton.com • Lightning Labs: https://lightning.engineering • Advancing Bitcoin: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1vyckdPva5fy1Ewb1K5srE138cZSnFlHV • Aperture Demo: https://youtu.be/Y2ZG-qcw7Sw ⚡️ Links to news • Central African Republic: https://forbes.mc/article/first-african-country-adopt-bitcoin-legal-currency-central-african-republic • World of rules without rulers: https://bitcoinmagazine.com/culture/bitcoin-and-a-world-of-rules-without-rulers • BTC for Merchants: https://bitcoinforlocalbusiness.com • Quantum-safe key exchange: https://lists.linuxfoundation.org/pipermail/bitcoin-dev/2022-April/020209.html ️⚡️ Links to updates • RingTools: https://t.me/SatoshiRadioROF/21549 • LNnodeinsight.com: https://twitter.com/smallworlnd/status/1517948124265918466?s=20&t=xlBlWDTPvchT5LZITgqRFQ • Cash App: https://bitcoinops.org/en/newsletters/2022/01/19/#cash-app-adds-lightning-support • BitPay: https://bitpay.com/blog/bitpay-supports-lightning-network-payments/ • LND 0.14.3-beta: https://github.com/lightningnetwork/lnd/releases/tag/v0.14.3-beta • LND 5810: https://github.com/lightningnetwork/lnd/issues/5810 • LND 6212: https://github.com/lightningnetwork/lnd/issues/6212 • LND 6024: https://github.com/lightningnetwork/lnd/issues/6024 • LND 6385: https://github.com/lightningnetwork/lnd/issues/6385 • Core Lightning 0.11.0rc3: https://github.com/ElementsProject/lightning/releases/tag/v0.11.0rc3 💰 Donation options: CTWBOT: https://t.me/ctwdonationbot SRROFBOT: https://t.me/srrofbot LN address: [email protected] LN address: ⚡[email protected] LNURL: LNURL1DP68GURN8GHJ7MRWW3UXYMM59E3K7MF0D3H82UNV9ACXZ7FLW4EK2UNFVS7NGV3NXYCRY8GST2Q ⏱ Timestamps 00:00 - Intro - “10 Questions” 02:45 - Part 1 - Connect The World community 08:15 - Statistics 09:40 - News 16:17 - Ring Of Fire (ROF) 21:14 - Prize! 24:35 - Lightning Notes 26:15 - Part 2 - Guest: Elle Mouton 32:40 - “21 minutes” 55:14 - Question from our last guest 57:19 - Outro This content is NOT sponsored… #Bitcoin #LightningNetwork #LN #Connect_The_World #LightningLabs #WomenInBitcoin
