Diane and Russell, while having an elicit affair, get caught up in a meteor shower. A large meteor hits the earth. Russell finds part of it. It is covered with strange markings. He breaks it open. What does he find inside? Is it flesh? Is it a living thing? It starts to grow! Is it from outer space? What does it want?
