Lightyear (2022)
from Three Men and a Retrospective Podcast Hosted by Percolated Media
Conceived and released between Toy Story 4 and 5, 2022’s Lightyear is the first film released within the Toy Story universe to be considered a flop. Rejected by audiences and critics alike, there is no reason two people who hadn’t seen it before would come away liking it. But that, as they say, is why we record the podcast. Listen to this review of Lightyear as both Garrett and Adam watch it for the very first time. Is Lightyear’s derision deserved? What about Matt, who did actually see Lightyear when it was released to theaters? Listen to the full review below, as well as every host’s anticipation going into next week’s review of Toy Story 5
