Nu is zij al gemeenteraadslid voor de SGP in Vlissingen. De voordracht is opvallend, want twee weken geleden verwierp het SGP-congres met overgrote meerderheid een motie om dat beginselprogramma te veranderen en vast te leggen dat vrouwen zelf mogen bepalen of ze politiek actief willen zijn.
