Limerick should be the first regional pilot for public transport safety

from Live95 Limerick Today Podcasts

A new report from the National Transport Authority has found that almost half of public transport users say they have felt unsafe at least once. More than eight in ten say they have witnessed some form of anti-social behaviour, while 15% say they've experienced verbal aggression and 10% physical aggression. Limerick City Councillor Pádraigh Reale is calling for Limerick to become a regional pilot or test bed for public transport safety, and he joins the programme. Image via Getty. Hosted on Acast.
