Limiting Possibilities

Send us Fan MailEmails have threatened many relationships and sometimes destroyed them because the tone could not be heard and the words written may have been interpreted wrongly without tone or facial expression. Emails are so often judged far differently than intended. That is why I LOVE being able to call a person or meet on Zoom/Teams in situations that are sensitive in order to hear a voice express the thought. I do this with my students all the time. Almost all things can have a better outcome when we reserve judgement and make the effort to communicate openly.How many times have we given up opportunities because we are actually afraid of the unknown or the effort it takes to make the opportunity the right one? We rely on excuses or judgement that we feel keeps us safe or more secure. We sometimes default to criticizing the opportunity because we fear change or loss of what we know.Judgement is tricky...and negative judgement can become a habit, sometimes in exchange for a life of possibilities.Thanks for listening!
