Starting today, August 10th, the Parks and Rec department is launching Fire Hydrant Parties — fun, community-driven cooling events with water sprays, police, fire, and transit crews on hand. Families can chill out at Densmore Park, UPCO Park, Arnold Heights Park, and Roberts Park (with bookmobiles at some!), all from 4:30–6 PM.
