This week we had the pleasure of sitting down with Linda Milanesi, CEO of Assistance Dogs of the West, to learn more about assistance dogs and the role they play in everyday life for some people. Assistance dogs have been a part of life for a long time in society, and here in the United States, we’re utilizing these incredible dogs in more ways every day. It is likely that someone you know or have seen around uses a service dog on a daily basis and the difference they make is noticeable for everyone who comes into contact with them. Linda explains some of the work they do with these dogs to prepare them for their role in someone’s life and also all the ins and outs of running Assistance Dogs of the West.
