Lawrence Peter "Yogi" Berra is one of baseball's all-time greatest superstars. He amassed 10 World Series rings, three American League MVP awards and 18 All-Star Game appearances. In 1972 he was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY. That same year his iconic uniform No. 8 was retired by the Yankees.
