Day 15 brought some of the most important defense testimony yet in the Lindsay Clancy trial. Psychologist Dr. Paul Zeizel, who has met with Lindsay more than 60 times since the deaths, testified about her reported hallucinations, paranoia and psychotic symptoms. Most significantly, he described Lindsay's account of hearing a male voice commanding her to kill her children and herself. Zeizel testified that he believes Lindsay suffered from postpartum psychosis and said he found no evidence that she was malingering or fabricating her symptoms.Jurors also heard from Dr. Donald Condie, who addressed Lindsay's psychiatric treatment and the possibility of bipolar disorder and postpartum psychosis, and forensic pathologist Dr. Elizabeth Laposata, who testified about Lindsay's severe injuries after she jumped from the second-story window.
