Lindsay Clancy Trial: the Jury Tours the House, Nick Reiner Disciplined in Jail, Mayra Velasquez Out on Bond in the Chavez Cold Case

Jurors in Lindsay Clancy's murder trial visited the Duxbury, Massachusetts home Friday where her three children died in January 2023 — a court-ordered jury view Judge William Sullivan permitted over the objection of the couple who now own the property. Clancy, 35, attended in a wheelchair. She has pleaded not guilty to three counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months. Her defense does not dispute that she caused their deaths and argues lack of criminal responsibility due to postpartum psychosis. Also: People reported, citing anonymous sources, that Nick Reiner was disciplined in April at a Los Angeles jail following an argument with deputies. Reiner, 32, has pleaded not guilty to two counts of first-degree murder in the December 2025 deaths of his parents, Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner, and has not been tried; the Sheriff's Department has not confirmed the report and the District Attorney's office declined to comment. And in Texas, Mayra Velasquez, 42, a real estate agent charged with capital murder in the 2012 stabbing death of Irasema Chavez, was released on $450,000 bond after investigative genetic genealogy linked crime-scene DNA to her.
