Lindsay Clancy's Psychiatrist Cross-Examined, 14 Telemedicine Visits and Never in the Same Room, Sarah Boone's 13th Lawyer Won't File

Kevin Reddington cross-examined Dr. Jennifer Tufts on Monday, day ten of Lindsay Clancy's murder trial in Plymouth Superior Court. Tufts, the psychiatrist who treated Clancy from September 2022 through the day before the killings, testified that all fourteen of their appointments were by telemedicine and that she had never met Clancy in person until the trial. Reddington questioned her experience level, her online biography, her medication decisions, and what she knew of Clancy's care elsewhere. Tufts also confirmed she is a defendant in the medical malpractice suits Lindsay and Patrick Clancy have filed. Clancy has pleaded not guilty to three counts of first-degree murder in the January 2023 deaths of Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan; she does not dispute causing their deaths and argues she was not criminally responsible due to postpartum psychosis. Also: in Florida, Sarah Boone is serving life without parole for the second-degree murder of Jorge Torres Jr., who died inside a zipped suitcase in 2020. Her appeal, docketed in Florida's Sixth District Court of Appeal, is now with her thirteenth attorney, who has written that he will not file a reply brief or request oral argument.Join our new FB groups page here.
