Link light rail gets a temporary bus upgrade—here’s what to expect. July 26: Buses replace trains between South Bellevue and International District/Chinatown, while the rest of the 2 Line stays on track. The 1 Line boosts frequency to every 8 minutes between Federal Way and Lynnwood to ease the load. Overnight work July 28–30 brings more bus service for late-night 2 Line riders in the same stretch. Then, August 4–6: Late-night service between BelRed and Downtown Redmond switches to buses for equipment upgrades, but the 2 Line still runs to Lynnwood, and the 1 Line remains unaffected. All part of Sound Transit’s routine maintenance to keep the system running smoothly. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
