Your LinkedIn profile needs to be a living breathing thing you’re updating consistently. I block time quarterly to make sure it’s up to date. The Coffee With Kim crew thought it’d be fun to do a live profile audit together every quarter as well! This week’s coffee meeting was all about how to make your profile a memorable one. Before we dove into live profile audits we talked about a few important LinkedIn updates! First, the setting that lets LinkedIn use your data to train AI (yes, really), and how to opt out if that’s not your thing. I also gave a peek at a new premium feature: slideshow banners that let you show off your work like a mini portfolio and the dos and don’ts for this new feature, and I gave some insight into sponsored posts and what that means for you. We also talked about why bullet points and numbers are still the secret for getting noticed faster and why adding all of your work experience is important.
