'Lioness' Gets Perfect Action Thriller Spin-off Pitch From Star

Actor Thad Luckinbill is actively proposing a new action thriller spin-off centered on his character, Kyle McManus, from the Taylor Sheridan series Lioness. Luckinbill describes his role as a reckless CIA operative who operates outside standard protocols, making him an ideal candidate for a standalone prequel or a procedural "fixer" show. The episode suggests that such an expansion could eventually bridge the gap between Lioness and the Yellowstone universe through a potential crossover with Kayce Dutton. While the character was originally a minor addition, his growing popularity has sparked discussions about his potential to anchor a separate franchise. This development follows a successful trend of character-driven expansions within Sheridan’s interconnected television landscape. Despite mixed fan reactions regarding the character's intensity, the pitch remains a plausible next step for the streaming platform. This episode includes AI-generated content.
