Lions Fall Short in Thriller vs. Oregon State

Loyola Marymount mens basketball team suffered a narrow defeat against Oregon State, losing 69-72. Despite building an early lead, the Lions struggled to maintain it as the Beavers took control before halftime. LMU fought back in the second half, taking the lead with a strong run, but Oregon State responded with a crucial seven-point spurt. Myron Amey Junior led all scorers with 24 points, including five threes, but his final three-pointer rimmed out. The Lions played well with just nine turnovers and twenty assists, but Oregon States 49% shooting proved too much. LMU hosts Santa Clara on Saturday at 6 PM, streaming live on ESPN Plus.
