Lisa Lampanelli
from Modern Problems Show Hosted by Modern Problems Show
This episode we have retired comedian Lisa Lampanelli on and we talk about her career, being on Celebrity Apprentice, being a life coach and her podcast Losers With A Dream. For more than 30 years, Lisa Lampanelli worked her ass off as a stand-up comedian. She wrote material, worked her way up from shitty one-nighters to venues as large as Radio City Music Hall, made dozens of TV appearances, did countless roasts, and night after night earned her title as Comedy's Lovable Queen of Mean. But none of those arduous tasks were as difficult as something she's been working on for the last three years: NOT doing standup. Being retired. She now has a brand-new podcast, Losers with a Dream. In every episode, Lampanelli advises -- and, let's be honest, sometimes roasts -- her co-hosts, fledgling millennial comedians Beau McDowell and Nick Scopoletti, as they talk about their feelings and tell the truth about their struggles. Luckily for them, Lisa is a half-assed life coach who is twice their age and loves to help.
