Lisa Lindahl, Co-Inventor of the Sports Bra, idea, creating the first, & effect on women's sports!

Lisa has had to overcome so much in her journey creating the first sports bra, including being diagnosed with epilepsy at 4, yet has now become an inspiration to girls and women around the world being inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame! She was an active runner and realized there was a need for chest support so she could run to her fullest. This got Lisa, Hinda, and Polly to work together to make a prototype out of two jockstraps. After testing it, they knew they were on to something! Lisa took her talents to the world of business and created a company around the new invention calling the product the Jogbra. Ultimately, the company was sold to Playtex Apparel and now Lisa has written a book about the journey and has an audio version too! She shares how her passion for athletics turned into a revolutionary invention, what it took to bring the idea to life, and the commercialization of it. Lisa also talks about her focus on inspiring young women to achieve their dreams and discusses her book!
