Amy Beard, MD is a functional medicine physician in Central Arkansas. Her goal is to find out WHY you are sick. She recommends taking a multivitamin everyday, Omega 3 fatty acids and treating your gut health. "The Total Gut Job" is her recommended gut restoration program, which removes foods that might cause you problems and reintroduces them 30 days later. Dr. Beard encourages people to replace LED bulbs with the old fashioned kind, she turns her WiFi off at night and also removes electronics from her bedroom to reduce EMFs. For supplements, she takes a mutli-vitamin, Omega 3 fatty acids and has added collagen to her routine (including bone broth.) Vitamin D is necessary in the winter.
