Listen: A Derry #Somme soldier's interview heard after 33 years

Like many young men from the city and surrounding areas, Jack Rutherford joined up with the army in 1914 and saw action at a number of battles including the Somme. Incredibly, he was interviewed about his wartime experiences on Radio Foyle back in the 1980s, and his grandson John Boyle kept a copy. He's been telling our reporter Freya McClements about his grandfather.
