A 25 year old Derry woman has been sentenced to 9 months in prison for stealing more than £10,000 pounds from elderly ladies she was caring for. Danielle McDermott, who now has an address in Belfast, pleaded guilty to three charges of stealing money, converting criminal property and fraud by false representation relating to a debit card in 2013 and 2014. One of her victims was Dinah Porter. Her daughter Laura has been speaking to our reporter Teresa Craig.
